Hyperfocus
When interest meets energy, deep focus becomes a genuine strength.
For example: Explore a topic you choose — with breaks and a clear stopping point.

ADHD is not only a challenge. With the right perspective it becomes VAST — a source of energy, creativity and extraordinary ideas.
A new perspective
VAST stands for Variable Attention Stimulus Trait — a strengths-based view of a brain activated by interest, novelty and meaning.
We help children and their families recognise the strengths behind ADHD — without minimising difficulties or reducing people to a diagnosis.
Begin with a different question
Not: “How do we fix you?”
When the focus is always on what is difficult, possibilities can disappear from view. Together, we explore what sparks interest, brings energy and already works — and what support makes it possible.
What lies within
A trait does not automatically become a strength. Together, we discover when it is useful and which conditions help.
When interest meets energy, deep focus becomes a genuine strength.
For example: Explore a topic you choose — with breaks and a clear stopping point.
Seeing unexpected connections and finding solutions others overlook.
For example: Gather several ideas for a problem before choosing a solution.
Inspiring others, starting boldly and engaging wholeheartedly.
For example: Get a project moving with movement and one small first step.
Perceiving deeply, responding empathetically and truly understanding people.
For example: Notice and express what others need in a calm group conversation.
How we work
What sparks curiosity? What brings energy? Children and parents discover individual strengths and helpful conditions together.
Turn that insight into a concrete experiment: a suitable task, a personal tool or a different way to start.
Try small, achievable steps and make progress visible. Discover together what will help next time.
Why we do this
Self-worth grows when I experience: I can make a difference.

A real change
“Learning used to be a struggle every evening. Today Noah knows how to begin — and we see his spark again.”
Change often begins not with a major breakthrough, but with a new perspective, the right tool and one small success.
Tools for everyday life
A few ideas families can try right away.
Do not aim to finish; simply begin for five minutes. Starting is often the biggest hurdle.
⏱Link a difficult task with movement, music, curiosity or a personal goal.
